September 30, 2009We’re saying goodbye to our little studio this week. Although it’s been a great little spot for us to work and hang out, we’ve discovered anew that our first love is shooting on location. With all of its beautiful and unique locations, Deland will remain our favorite place to shoot. Of course, studio work will always be available but will now be done at your location or in my home studio.
As her pregnancy goes flying by, Allison’s belly is growing. As she prepares for the arrival of her new baby GIRL, Allison is beginning her extended maternity leave. She’ll be missed but she’s got bigger and better things to focus on right now.

Friday is the day for our Enchanted Fairy Portraits. With the holidays approaching and cooler weather on the way, this is our last Fairy event this year. Don’t miss it!
Our Senior Portrait Special continues this month. This is a fantastic opportunity to get really fun portraits that capture the real, unique YOU!

June 17, 2009A little of this, a bit of that and it adds up to a busy month!
The MOMS Club of West Volusia held it’s annual Membership Festival on June 3 and gave us the opportunity to meet and shoot everyone. We had a fabulous time meeting lots of new people and shooting so many cute kids. We’re looking forward to seeing them again soon.
The Gateway Center for the Arts gallery is showing photographic art featuring Abandoned Florida. The exhibit continues through June 30. Allison and Karen each have two photographs on display. Stop by to see some terrific art and support your local artists.
Karen has combined her love of food and entertaining with her passion for photography to create a new blog. OurLifeInTheKitchen, full of recipes and step-by-step photos, is a glimpse into Karen’s kitchen. Because she hasn’t figured out a way to wield both a camera and a knife at the same time, her daughter Katie makes the blog possible by providing much of the great photography.
A weekend getaway to Savannah in mid-June was a wonderful way for Karen to celebrate her birthday with her husband. Savannah is beautiful, the Southern hospitality quite charming, the food fabulous and the company better. A few photos from the trip are here
And finally, our biggest announcement – Allison is expecting a new baby early next year! We’re capturing her growing belly with weekly portraits. Follow her progression here
